Luego de dos años de ausencia en el calendario mundial, el regreso de Cardiff en su 20ma edición, dio a un nuevo ganador en la temporada 2022 de Speedway Grand Prix. El joven británico Dan Bewley logró una contundente e importante sumatoria de puntos en una pista cuyas condiciones empeoraron con el desarrollo de la jornada. Con un gran dominio, fue capaz de adueñarse de la final y así conseguir su primera victoria en el campeonato mundial de Speedway en su primer año compitiendo a este nivel. Se convirtió, de esta forma, en el primer piloto británico en ganar en Cardiff desde la victoria en 2007 por parte de Chris Harris. El podio lo completaron el polaco Bartosz Zmarzlik y Patryk Dudek. En cuarta posición y sin sumar puntos en la final fue Leon Madsen.

DAN BEWLEY CLAIMS HIS FIRST EVER GRAND PRIX VICTORY AT CARDIFF

After two years of absence from the world calendar, the return to Cardiff in its 20th edition, crowned a new winner in the Speedway Grand Prix 2022 season. The young british rider, Dan Bewley achieved a convincing and important sum of points on a track whose conditions worsened with the passing of the day. With great dominance, he was able to take over the final and thus get his first ever Speedway World Chmpionship victory o n his first year competing at this level. He became, on that way, the first british rider to win at Cardiff after Chris Harris victory in 2007. The podium was completed by the polish and champion Bartosz Zmarzlik and in third position Patryk Dudek. In fourth position and without scoring any points in the final was Leon Madsen.
